Update 2: Announcement of Theme and Slack!

Hi everyone, we are excited that all of you are taking this journey with us!Over the next few days, please expect a lot of activity on Slack! If you know others from IIT Madras, AIIMS New Delhi, CMC Vellore, JIPMER, Georgia Tech, or Emory who have signed up and are not 'Active' on Slack, please do let us know (innovate@stopncd.org).

  1. Expert faculty from your institutions met on 28th March at IIT Madras - they identified 10 priority problems in diabetes for India that can be solved using technology within the next 10 years. You will hear more about this shortly.
  2. We have received or created teams for most of you! Thank you to those who have emailed/pinged us about this
  3. We have prepared the problem statement. The theme is 'Early Detection and Long-Term Management of Diabetic Foot Disease' - this was identified as a very pressing problem and we will be releasing the detailed problem statement on April 1st Eastern Time (US). For now, those of you unfamiliar with it, should read up about it!
  4. At any point in time, if you have questions, drop us a note on the #questions channel on Slack. It is more than likely that your question will be helpful for everyone. The other more important thing is that it will take all of us to solve the bigger problem of diabetes!
Once again, I am very excited for all of you and am glad to work with you. Looking forward to learning more about your creative solutions! Please email us on innovate@stopncd.org if you are registered but not on Slack yet and need help to get there.

P.S.: If you see this message, but someone you know who has registered is not, do make sure that they add this email domain (@devpost.com from Devpost) as a safe sender (in some cases, these emails may go to their Junk/Spam folder).
